Phases of the Moon Never Tasted So Good!

In science, students have been learning about the phases of the moon.  On Friday, they created each phase of the moon using Oreo cookies.  Below you will find their creations. After they wrote about each phase of the moon it was time to gobble up those cookies... lots of fun!

Ben the Therapy Dog Visits 5M!

We are very lucky to have a new weekly visitor to our classroom.  Ben, the therapy dog, visits our classroom for about 30 minutes every Thursday afternoon.  He is a big hit!  The students love to cuddle up to him and read to him. He is the most relaxed dog I have ever met.  He is wonderful with the students and we greatly appreciate his owner, Susan, sharing him with us.
